The Botanic Garden is a living, multidisciplinary laboratory currently used by several departments within Oklahoma State's Division of Agricultural Science and Natural Resources in addition to the local and regional communities at large. Practices and projects include drought response; water quality; sustainable practices and energy; and reptile and amphibian studies.
We are a USDA-certified Exotic Animal Park that has been open for eight seasons now. We recognize it’s because of you, that we can expand and bring in new adventures here at Lost Creek Safari. There are some amazing plans for our future that we want you to be a part of. The park is formally managed by Lake McMurtry Friends Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit. All proceeds help with the preservation and enhancement of park facilities. Nestled 10 miles outside of Stillwater OK, Lake McMurtry is the perfect family friendly getaway. Come try out a kayak rental and spend your day soaking up one of Oklahoma's most Spectacular sunsets!
